This is one of several paintings of scenes from a coast to coast drive across America in 2008. This oil painting began as a watercolor done on location at Ghost Ranch. Ghost Ranch is north of Santa Fe in Abiquiu New Mexico and was the inspiration of many of Georgia O'keeffe's landscape paintings.
